据《中国日报》上周四报道，上海交通大学在徐汇校区进行了无人驾驶小巴试运行。

‍‍‍‍Theservice, for on-campus commuting,uses an eight-seat vehicle developed jointly by the university's Research Institute of Intelligence Vehicles and a company specializing in automatic driving systems research and production, the newspaper said.

报道称，该辆八座巴士用于校园通勤的班车服务，是由上海交通大学智能车辆研究院与一家专门从事自动驾驶系统研究生产的企业联合研发的。

Guided by a map stored in the cloud, the bus can pick up passengers and take them to the stopthey select by scanning a QR code.

在云地图的引导下，该巴士可以通过扫描二维码来接住乘客，并将他们带到他们选择的车站。

There are currently four stops on the university's Xuhui campus. While on board, passengerscan use a touch screen or speak to an interactive voice system to change their destination.

徐汇校区目前共设有四个站点。在车上，乘客可以使用触摸屏或与交互式语音系统通话来改变目的地。

SinceMay 2, the three buses have carried more than 1,000 passengers safely at a maximumspeed of 15 km per hour,according to YangMing,director of the institute.

据该研究所所长杨明透露，自5月2日起，这三辆巴士已经以每小时15公里的最高速度安全运送了1000多名乘客。
