如今，去中心化加密货币和中心化法定货币之间的矛盾激化愈发强烈。9月5日，LinkedIn联合创始人Reid Hoffman发布了一段嘻哈说唱比赛视频，演员分别扮演了美国开国元勋之一的亚历山大·汉密尔顿和中本聪，并进行了对峙。汉密尔顿和中本聪之间的对决，其实就是中心化和去中心化思潮之间的碰撞。

亚历山大·汉密尔顿是美国开国元勋之一，美国宪法的起草人之一。同时他也是美国的第一任财政部长，美国政党制度的创建者，在美国金融、财政和工业发展史上，占有重要地位。

汉密尔顿从在军队经历的艰难困苦以及战后亲身体验到的联邦政府软弱无力的窘境中认识到，美国要成为一个繁荣富强的国家，必须建立一个坚固的诸州联盟和一个强有力的中央政府。战后，他一直为实现这一目标坚持不懈的斗争。他影响了美国历史进程的总统，比如亚伯拉罕·林肯和西奥多·罗斯福。
