上海两会期间，代表委员提议上海制造业应更加着眼于创新、质量与声誉。过去十年里，上海在全国智能制造发挥了举足轻重的作用。记者张乐关注城市过往的成就及未来的期许。

During the two sessions in the city, delegates proposed that Shanghai's traditional strength in manufacturing should further focus oninnovation, high quality and reputation.Over the past decade, Shanghai has played a major role in the country's drive of intelligent manufacturing. Zhang Yue takes a looks at some of the city'spast achievements and new resolutions.

总部位于上海的中国商用飞机有限责任公司（COMAC）建造了中国首架自主研发客机——C919。预计在两个五年计划之后投入市场。C919是世界领先的150座客机标本，享有本国知识产权。这架飞机定将在世界市场占领一席之地，并为中国跃身成为世界航空强国打下坚实基础。

Headquartered in Shanghai, the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China or COMAC, is buildingChina's first domestically designed passenger jet -- the C919.The delivery of the C919 to its customers will happen in 10 years. It is a world's leading150-seatpassenger aircraft model,filled with Chinese intellectual property.This model is sure todominate the world's market,and it will set a foundation for China's advancement to becomea global aviation powerhouse.

上海是中国现代工业、制造业的发源地。数十年间，经历了一系列产业升级，在高端制造业、航空、信息科技等前沿科技积累了众多经验与优势。取得成就的同时，上海也成为了“中国制造2025”国家发展路线的核心。

Shanghai isthe birthplace of modern China's industrial manufacturing.Over the decades, the industry has undergone a series ofupgradesand Shanghai has accumulated advantages incutting-edge technologies such as advanced manufacturing, aviation and information technology.With those advancements, Shanghai is key to the country's vision of"Made in China 2025".

国际的形势

以嵌入式系统、大数据、新一代人工智能等高端制造为代表的新工业革命到来了。目前，中国需实现从制造大国到制造强国的转变。我们要把中国速度化为中国质量，中国产品化为中国品牌。A new industrial revolutionis coming, marked by advanced manufacturing such asembedded systems, big data and new-generation AI.At present, China isthe biggest manufacturing country, but not the strongest one.We need to change “made in China” into “created in China”, "Chinese speed" into "Chinese quality", and "Chinese product" into "Chinese brand".

人工智能是中国的机遇。上海的创新政策与工业基础吸引了三分之一的人工智能人才，他们重点研究算法、人工智能芯片、家用机器人等不同领域。C919客机和上海振华重工无人集装箱码头等顶层设计也运用到人工智能技术。我们在移动通信、人工智能技术领域，已超越众多工业强国。AI isa chancefor China.
