本周BP发生了什么？

1、我们加入了EOS.3.0RC1 SuperHeronet v3

2、引力区是第一批加入最新测试网络的BP

3、新版本测试网一共设有42个BP，而不是21，此举是为了让更多的BP参与进来

4、一般而言，节点加入测试网络过程非常缓慢，所以直到另一个BP出现代替，现有BP们不得不运行多个节点

5、如果能开发一款APP可以测出EOS测试网的TPS，将会是一件很有意义的事。因为大家都想知道EOS网络的实际TPS是多少，这将可以减轻EOS区块链的测试负担。

6、有人预计EOS网络在发布时会达到1000TPS（只算高质量的有效交易）。

在有必要的时候也有提升空间。上线之时将会是单线程。如果升级至多线程的话，就有可能会提升至数十万级的交易速度。

此外，主网发布之时，EOS将支持网络内部交流，这个功能的使用意味着每秒的交易数量将不受限制。

要做到这一点最重要的是在发布之时不能过于注重TPS，因为这没有必要，也浪费资源。提升TPS需要BP提供更多资源，此举实属浪费。

What happened in the BP side this week?

1、Joined SuperHeronet v3 with EOS Dawn 3.0 RC1

2、We’re between the first BPs to join the latest version of the Testnet

3、The new Community testnet has 42 total BPs instead of 21, this is done in order to give to more people the opportunity to be between the selected BPs

4、In General BPs joined the testnet v3 really slowly, that forced BPs to run most of the nodes until someone could reclaim them News or extra information?

5、It would be a good thing to put a app for actual TPS measurements of the testnets of eos, it would be a way to light stress test on an eos block chain as everyone is wondering what is the actual TPS of EOS net.

6、Estimated EOS TPS? At launch the figure 1000 tps has been mentioned (with high quality, useful transactions). This can scale when needed though. At launch it will be single threaded.

Scaling up to a multi-threaded implementation we could be looking at several hundred thousand tps.

Another thing to consider is that at launch eos will support inter blockchain communication, the use of which effectively means unlimited transactions per second.

The key thing to realise is that tps is not being overly prioritised for launch because it's unnecessary and wasteful. Scaling up tps requires more resources from the block producers, which is an extra expense. Businesses tend not to spend unnecessary resources.
