SAP EWM初阶之STOCK TYPE

不同于SAP ECC/S4HANA系统上的STOCK TYPE(UU/BLOCKED/QI/RETURNS etc), SAP EWM系统上的STOCK TYPE的定义更为复杂，它是任何EWM初学者都感兴趣和会困惑的概念。

笔者作为一个EWM初学者，也未免对EWM里面的STOCK TYPE好奇。

标准仓库号0001下的stock type的配置如下：

SAP EWM标准系统预定义了如下六种stock type:

F1: Unrestricted-Use in Putaway,

F2: Unrestricted-Use Warehouse,

Q1: Stock in Quality Inspection in Putaway,

Q2: Stock in QI in Warehouse,

B1: Blocked in Putaway,

B2: Blocked Warehouse.

Stock Type

Use

The stock type is an attribute of a stock quantity in the warehouse. It defines the quality of a stock in the warehouse. For example, this quality can be unrestricted-use, in quality inspection, or blocked.

Dependencies

The stock type is assigned to a location-independent stock type, representing the Inventory Management (MM-IM) stock type, and to an availability group, representing the plant and storage location.

Example

Stock type F1 in warehouse W001 is assigned to the location-independent stock type FF (unrestricted-use stock) and availability group PL01/0001. You use this stock type to manage unrestricted-use stock in plant PL01 and storage location 0001.

Location-Independent Stock Type

Definition

Defines the quality (unrestricted-use, in quality inspection, or blocked) of a stock, regardless of the availability group of the storage type.

Use

The location-independent stock type is assigned in Customizing for Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to an EWM stock type, and is used for the following functions:

Determining the subsequent stock type for a transfer between two storage types that belong to different availability groups.

Mapping between EWM stock type and the stock type in the back-end system

Dependencies

The location-independent stock type points uniquely to one stock type in your enterprise management system, for example, SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA:

FF: Unrestricted-use stock

QQ: Quality inspection stock

BB: Blocked stock

RR: Returns blocked stock (non-valuated, not visible in material requirements planning or available-to-promise in the back-end system)

SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA only recognizes the above stock types. You can define other location-independent stock types in decentralized EWM, if you do not need to communicate them to SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA.
