Tencent Cloud's distributed cloud CDC CDZ are recommended to be deployed on server models certified by Tencent Cloud. This deployment method can leverage Tencent Cloud's deep optimization of software and hardware, resulting in better performance.
Tencent is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the server. Tencent will be responsible for handling server hardware failures and updating server firmware and microcode. For the software and hardware that cloud services rely on, when security vulnerabilities occur (such as processor vulnerabilities), Tencent will promptly update the software version, or update the hardware firmware and microcode to resolve them.
In projects that require neutral hardware deployment, the servers used must meet Tencent Cloud's key hardware specifications and be confirmed through Tencent's hardware verification process. The overall process is as follows:
1. Server configuration verification
1.1. If deployed based on the customer's newly purchased server and in accordance with Tencent's hardware specifications, server procurement will be carried out.
Tencent has extensive cooperation with many server manufacturers, and customers can choose the appropriate configuration and model from them. Tencent's service providers include Inspur, H3C, Foxconn, etc.
1.2. If deployment is based on the customer's existing servers, the customer shall provide a list of server and configuration specifications, and Tencent Cloud shall verify the specifications. For accessories that do not meet Tencent's hardware specifications, customers will carry out server modification processing.
2. Server introduction
2.1 Technical validation of customer server prototypes
2.2. Customer server input into Tencent Cloud management system
3. Deploy according to Tencent Cloud's distributed cloud standard deployment plan
When customers want to use existing servers to provide cloud services, they can also use Tencent Cloud's CHC service to unify the customer's servers into CDC/CDZ for management.
CHC Tencent Cloud's newly launched managed infrastructure cloud product supports entrusting customers' own servers to Tencent Cloud without hardware architecture restrictions.
Customers' servers are naturally connected to Tencent Cloud's private network, which can build a secure cloud-exclusive network, provide complete private network capabilities, and support network customization through tools such as console, command line or SDK for rapid delivery. Customers can use cloud products seamlessly on the server. For example, use database products, or use them as nodes for load balancing, containers and other products.
We can provide a minimum of 3 server-sized scenario (2 network + 1 compute), which can be served in the local dedicated cluster CDC。
In the 3-device scenario, only compute virtualization and network virtualization are provided, storage virtualization is not included, and can be provided locally.
The CMP capability is identical to our 8 full IaaS configuration version, which provides services through the Tencent Cloud console, with the difference being only the absence of virtualized storage services
