linux ora12154,ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified

My listener.ora file is below and my OS is XP Pro 2002 Service Pack 2. My hostname is ict_tjuttelstad and my Primary DNS Suffix is ideorlando.org.

I have tried several items for the hostname entry in my TNSNames file. I have tried my computer name (ict_tjuttelstad) with and with out the primary DNS suffix, localhost, and 127.0.0.1. I haven’t tried my actual IP address but am going to try it right now while waiting…

Funny thing is that 9i runs perfectly “right out of the box”…never had problems with Oracle installs until 10g.
